Listening and Learning from lived experience of staff

The Staff Equalities Network has been commissioned by the Director of People and Culture to raise awareness of the need to become a more inclusive workforce.

One of the ways we can do this is by sharing, listening and learning from colleagues who have been impacted through their experience of their ‘protected characteristics’ while working in health and care services.

We would therefore welcome the opportunity to hear from members of our diverse and multicultural workforce who would be willing to share their experience.

You can tell us your story anonymously and in your own words by accessing the staff stories template at: Sharing and Learning from Staff Stories

Alternatively, if you would like to be supported to share your story, you can contact the Staff Equalities Network by emailing us at: gram.staffequalities@nhs.scot

Alternatively, you can attend one of the #SpacesForInclusion virtual sessions that are held throughout the year.

Any stories that are shared will be done so anonymously and will not be attributed to any member of staff.

If you have any questions or ideas, or would like to have an informal chat in confidence, please get in touch by emailing: gram.staffequalities@nhs.scot
