Health Village Cover

Across NHS Grampian we are looking at how healthcare services will be provided in the future. We want to provide good quality, sustainable services where people are looked after by the right person, in the right place and at the right time.

As part of this strategy we are aiming to create a Community Health and Care Village on Frederick Street, Aberdeen. We aim to deliver diagnosis, treatment and care in or close to communities in the North East. The proposed facility will include, for example, out patient clinics, minor surgery, dentistry, radiology, sexual health services, podiatry, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, dietetics, carer's advice and information centre, a healthpoint information service, a café, and learning space that can be used by patients, carers and staff.
